Well I started calling around the animal shelters here and found Rusty right away. someone had picked him up and taken him to the vet. The animal control picked him up and took him to a kennel. Apparently here in Maine dogs have to be registered. never heard of such a thing, I gues it is just another way for them to get money out of us.

Glad to hear Rusty is back. He must be braver than Major - who has never ever ventured further than Gram's and that was during a thunderstorm.
